The Firm – also in collaboration with other professionals – advises companies and public and private bodies/institutions on the assignment procedures and the management of public services, such as the integrated water service, public transport, gas and electricity supply, urban waste, etc., also providing, where necessary, assistance in any litigation before the Regional Administrative Courts, the Council of State and the ordinary jurisdiction of any degree.

Environment

The search for a balance between the environmental protection and the economic-productive development are issues which by now are to be considered central in public law and in the activities related to the measures to be taken by the Public Administration. Building on the commitment and the academic experience gained on the subject by Prof. Vaiano, the Firm has developed an increasing experience in the management of legal profiles related to environmental assessment and authorization procedures, landscape and environmental constraints, the so-called “green tenders”, the construction of settlements or industrial plants, waste treatment, atmospheric emissions, industrial and civil waste, and so on.

Licensing of Public Assets

Vaiano-Cataldo is also proud of its consolidated experience in the field of special licensing of public assets, with particular reference to those in the port area, since for many years the Firm was the reference legal support of an important Port Authority. Partners and collaborators assist their clients in their relations with the granting Public Administrations and, where necessary, assist them in litigation before the Regional Administrative Courts and the Council of State, with particular regard to the competitive procedures to be carried out for the assignment of state properties, in the presence of several applicants who have submitted a request; to the contents of the related assignment provisions; to the activities necessary for the maintenance of the conditions for obtaining the renewal of the assignments and not to incur any legitimate revocation by the granting Authorities.
